Who Are The National Careers Service and How Can They Help You?

The National Careers Service is an abundance of knowledge and information just waiting to be explored. Provided by the government, it can give you advice, support and guidance on all things Career, Training and Work. Whether you are starting out your career, looking for a career change, have recently been made redundant or are looking to get back into work- there is information on all of these topics as well assessments you can undertake to analyse your skills and strengths. By exploring courses and careers available to you, you are able to make more informed choices for your Career Journey and if you need to, you can also speak with a Careers Advisor for free about your next steps to success.

Coming up shortly are a series of events for young people to help with their Career journey.

These hour long webinars are hosted online by a professional National Careers Service careers adviser, with expert local knowledge, who will help attendees to identify opportunities in their area. They will be on hand to provide further free and personalised careers advice for anyone needing more support.

Wednesday 27th April - 10am: How to develop a winning CV and cover letter

The National Careers Service are also offering an interactive work-based academy via zoom to find out more about a career in the Probation Service, how to apply for a group-work facilitator role, and getting support with the application and selection process.
